Living Dead Dolls Are A Collectors Item
Living Dead Dolls are absolute dead sensations made in America by Mezco Toyz. The official website “where deader is better†is www.livingdeaddolls.com, and while dolls cannot be purchased directly from this website, it features a list of retailers that carry Mezco Toyz products including new and previously laid to rest collectibles. The current series of dolls may also still be available through Mezco’s online store, www.mezcotoyz.com, the original manufacturer of licensed Living Dead Dolls and accessories. Prices vary as they are set by the individual retailers, but are generally between $20-35 for a single doll, and $50-60 per twin packs. Dolls that are out of production tend to sell for much more. Most dolls come with a death certificate and accessories which are hidden behind each doll, so remove the doll from the packaging in order to get to the accessories. Some do not come with any accessories, but if you purchase a doll missing an accessory, return to the place of purchase.
A favorite exclusive Living Dead Dolls twin pack, Dr. Dedwin and Nurse Necro, date of death October 23, 1993, were laid to death some time ago, but are available from a number of collector sites as well as eBay. The chipboard poem for this duo says, “With needle and scalpel, they want to penetrate, their only diagnosis, is to slowly amputate.†And the death certificate goes like this: “always in trouble for playing their game, doctor, nurse and the devil to blame, now that they are dead it is no longer a sin, for down here in hell the doctor is in.†How touching! All Living Dead Dolls are packed and carefully exhumed in its own coffin with a unique death certificate and accessories. Be sure to check out either website above for product availability and new series releases.
